The maternity service offers service of hospitalization and other different health care to clients in different areas: Maternity care with spontaneous delivery care and caesarian section; Gynecological related problems; and Post caesarian wound care. The service works every day 24hours, it has qualified nurses and midwives who offer day to day care and a day to day ward round done by a physician.

Especially, the department deals with diseases affecting the female genitalia, these being can be medical or surgical and is concerned with pregnant women and their future child. It is responsible of dealing with a wide range of issues, including obstetrics, or pregnancy and childbirth, menstruation and fertility issues, sexually transmitted infections, hormone disorders, and others. It is therefore responsible of dealing with medicine and surgery for women, as well as ultrasound for the prenatal diagnosis of certain fetal ailments. Our midwives within the department are specialists in normal pregnancy, while our obstetrician gynecologists specialize in managing pathological pregnancies.
